Thwarted Again

 

This poor black squirrel was sitting looking at this pole which had a full bird feeder up top but also had 3 barricades along it to stop his ascent. He was sitting looking at it for a while and paid no attention to me.

    Ha, the squirrel has to find his food elsewhere.
    The Black Squirrels are pretty, we do not see them here.

    Sometimes they figure out a way to get the seed but that does look quite a challenge.

    Ohhhhhh, poor wee one!
    I put up barriers for my strawberries, too. But I feed my "Peanuts" walnuts (otherways they throw a fit and destroy what they can - they taught me well to serve them ;-)...)
