This is the whole mural that has been being painted for more than 2 months now. The day after I took this shot the painters were applying a sealing coat to the mural so it is now finished. It gets a lot of attention as you can imagine as everyone is trying to figure out what it is.
Wow, this mural dominates the whole area with its strong graphic patterns. No, it is not obvious what it is. Without your comments, I might think it was a microscopic view of some organisms.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors.
ReplyDeleteThis is a mysterious mural. It looks very organic and almost like it's undulating. It looks a bit like a strange deep sea plant.
ReplyDeleteAm really curious about the resolving explanation.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the artist's explanation is? I like Sharon's take on it, it makes me think it has something to do with the sea.
ReplyDelete...it looks simple, but it sure was a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteThat is impressive work
ReplyDeleteIt's not a typical mural, not form where I come form anyway. But it is interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat's what it looks like. If you are microscopic size and eaten by an amoeba! I'm glad they sealed it. I'm sure that's anti graffiti treatment as well. It's interesting how to photograph something this big, isn't it? If you photograph the whole thing, it's very small. If you photograph portions of it, how do you break it up. This has been interesting Pat. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteI think it is an ultrasound of a GI tract.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why the artist(s) didn´t include the door... somehow.
