Bike riding is becoming more and more popular around the city as the city continues to expand the bicycle lanes (at a bit of a slow pace). To supply the needs of the riders, bicycle shops have popped up, and this is one of the more established ones. There are also bike share stations all over the city.

Cycling is a wonderful form of exercise. Do you ride a bike?
ReplyDeleteBike shops are always interesting places to visit and look at all the new bikes. I used to ride bikes all the time, but my knees now complain if I do, so I walk more now.
ReplyDeleteDespite we have bicycle lanes I don´t feel safe here. All the darn fast e-scooter guys are a true danger. Left, right they speed by... even as pedestrian you have to be super-careful.
ReplyDeleteBut great your place is better.
Shops like that one have taken plenty of my money over the years, but the pleasure I got from biking far outweighed the cost.
ReplyDelete...bike lane are the key to safe riding.
ReplyDeleteThis looks familiar. I pass by a bike shop quite often and always see people there. We have many bike lanes but even with that, riding is still low. It will pick up a bit as the temperatures fall.
ReplyDeleteThe bike shop looks nice! I wish they had more bike lanes, to keep those riders safe. Take care, have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThere are too many crazy drivers here. When you see a bike rider, they are in a group riding in the road along with the cars which I think is not safe enough. You won't find too many bike lanes in the rural areas of Ireland.
ReplyDeleteI call this progress.
ReplyDeleteEven though we live far out in the country, we have spent plenty of time and money at a local bike shop. Great exercise.
ReplyDeleteThis is happening in Honolulu as well. Thank you, Pat
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful hobby!
ReplyDeleteBikes are taking over, and that is not a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteI have 28000 kilometers on my ebike. Bikes everywhere in Stockholm. Glad to see this.
ReplyDeleteGood for the city and its inhabitants.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been on a bike in years.
