These pigeons had found a couple of puddles along the driveway into a busy grocery store and nothing was going to stop them from enjoying the water. If a vehicle came by they would walk over a few feet and then return immediately to the puddle. Even a large tractor trailer didn't bother them much.

How neat they are. And I had a funny sighting on our last trip...a pigeon out in the wild. No city nearby...where I would expect to see one. It surprised me. Maybe it was lost! lol Hugs!
There's something oddly delightful about their stubborn joy; pigeons proving, once again, that a good puddle is worth holding ground for, no matter the traffic
This makes me realize that I rarely see pigeons any more. I don't see them in Florida, and I haven't noticed them in Connecticut. They used to be an every day sight. I am going to start looking for them.
Birds will be birds.
