Surprise

 

I guess I haven't been paying attention but I was walking along and spotted these lilies which totally took me by surprise and then I noticed patches of them all over the place. So lovely to see.

    I have always loved seeing day lilies. They are the flowers of summer.

    They are all over the place now, including our backyard and up the street and in the park.

    They are beautiful and there is a tiny touch of purple in there. They all look great up against that rustic fence.
