The vast majority of houses in the Annex neighbourhood are really close together but there are a couple of streets where the lots are bigger such as in this shot. The house on the right is an old original Annex home while the one on the left is a new build. I like the old one best.
Me too. It's great.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the older.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the new one was built to blend in with the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteThe older house is a favorite, but both are really nice.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
I like the wrap-around balcony.
ReplyDeleteWhile the old, original house looks great, the new one fits well into the neighborhood. It is the same scale, and its style does not clash with the Arts and Craft style of its neighbor.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the older one too.
ReplyDeleteWithout doubt the older is nicer, and I've seen enough now to think, it speaks of Toronto. The newer could be anywhere.
ReplyDeleteRedPat, we have but a condo and will never have the money for a house. If I had the money.... tough decision!!! (Glad I don´t have to think about this...).
ReplyDeleteThe Annex is such a wonderful neighbourhood of big old homes.
