When walking along Bloor St W by the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) you will come upon these gates which lead to a lovely pathway through part of the U of T campus. Most people don't notice the entrance and pass by but it it is a tranquil path which I will show you for the next few days. It is called Philosophers Walk.

"Philosophers Walk", I like that.
ReplyDeleteI have seen these.

ReplyDeleteI walked down Philosopher's Walk several times. Doesn't it mark the buried route of Taddle Creek?
ReplyDeleteIt's a great campus!
ReplyDeletePhilosophers Walk is a gently hidden passage where the city softens, inviting anyone who notices to wander a little more thoughtfully.
ReplyDeleteYou could do some deep thinking in there.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a nice spot.
ReplyDeleteI am fairly sure I photographed those gates as we walked past. They are impressive.
ReplyDeleteA fine set of pillars holding the gates from an earlier century. They are imposing and impressive.
ReplyDeleteThat´s a nice name, RedPat - looking forward to more!
