While I was in San Miguel De Allende there were fellows putting these banners up all over town promoting the 2026 World Cup of soccer since some of the games are being played in Mexico. Soccer is really popular there so it will be a big event for the country. There will be some games played in Canada too, 6 in Toronto.

ReplyDeleteSweden qualified yesterday. Which was a miracle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sign. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteThat's a popular event around the world.
ReplyDelete...and Trump framing it as an "America First" spectacle!
ReplyDeleteYes, I was just reading about the World Cup this morning. Canada, U.S., and Mexico are hosts for this year's games. My hope is that the focus is on the soccer games, and not international politics.
ReplyDeleteNice graphic design! I think I just heard yesterday that Canada's first game will be against Bosnia.
ReplyDeleteNice design!
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand crowds. I'll watch it, though.
ReplyDeleteA truly continental spectacle stretching from Mexico to Toronto, where the energy will no doubt be just as electric.
ReplyDeleteIt is a pity the gloss has been taken off by the country to your south. Overseas bookings are minimal and FIFA has let go lots of booked accommodation. I think Mexico will be the least affected though.
ReplyDeleteToronto should get a real kick out the World Cup.
ReplyDeleteGreat sign find for the theme! Take care, enjoy your day!
