Laneway Loft

This what I think of when I think of a loft - something that has been converted from a factory and not something built new and called a "loft". This particular space with the wide loading doors which look out onto railway tracks with a lot of trees along them looks so funky - I'd love to see inside. A friend lived in the fabulous space beside it but didn't have these great doors!

  7. That is what I call a loft too, or an old office building converted to lofts. Industrial.

  13. My brother had friends who lived in a loft (way before it was fashionable) and I have always dreamed of such a space - tucked in an alley.

  14. neat. I like that you can get some plants outside, which softens the harsh exterior.

Nice catch. I wonder why they didn't make the door as tall as the windows to either side? It looks like it was filled in a little with brick.
