Palm House

Inside the Palm House from yesterday's post you will find the large specimen trees belonging to the conservatory including these banana trees with long branches of fruit ready to ripen. Just over the left side of the man's head a grand piano is visible - what a great place for a recital!

  7. I could spend hours in there. Make it days if it were snowing outside.

  8. Can't imagine a better place to spend some time during the cold months. We had banana trees on a golf course in south Florida. Other golfers usually beat me to them, though. I didn't think that was very nice, or considerate! :)

  10. Back in the mid 1960s I drove the streetcar past Allan Gardens so many times but I never paid a visit there. Thanks to you I now know what I am missing. PS: On these cold days it is wise of you photograph indoors.
