Bunny In The City

I was walking down the stairs from Casa Loma this week when I had an encounter with this bunny. We both froze - he wanted to cross the stairs and I wanted to go down and eventually he gave in and crossed over. I continued on my way and later, passing by at the base of the stairs, I spotted him nibbling on some dandelions and I was able to pull out my camera and get this pic. Cute isn't he?

    What a nice little bunny. You did well. They usually don't let you get close enough long enough to get a good shot. We've got some cottontails which hang around the house. They're fun to watch, too.

    Oh wow! I once caught one, just barely, in the palace grounds, yours is gorgeous, it looks like an Easter bunny with the lovely spring flowers!

    Very cute! I've been seeing rabbits most days- well, it might well be the same rabbit- on campus.

    We lived near Casa Loma for a year or more and walked up and down those stairs many times!
