Wilderness In The City

I came upon this little scene out behind one of the galleries in the Yorkville neighbourhood and was thrilled to find the little bird. I am certain that it is a piece by Patrick Amiot & Brigitte Laurent who were originally from Montreal but have been based in California for quite a while now. It is rather nice that he is seated by the bears exploring one of our native trees!

  2. cute little bird! doesn't really go with the natural looking bears, but at least everyone's happy. :)

  3. I shouldn't think Birdman would have any problem recognizing one of his own kind! I think the bird's nose might be a bit larger, but ... and I've heard he wears colorful hats. This is all so funny, I can hardly bear it!
