Day Of Rest

This Canada Goose was taking it easy one day as I passed through a park that was quite busy with bird and human activity but no one dared disturb it since these geese can be so fierce!

  1. I'm also spending today resting. Got in several rounds of golf this weekend and did a lot of biking too. Time to relax! :)

  5. It was probably tired from it's long flight home from Arizona. We do see quite a few of these guys in the winter months.

  8. Yes, the Canada geese and greylags along our canal can be quite snappy.

  10. It's good when they're resting 'cause then they can't be pooping. I don't think. Cute pic.

  14. Absolutely, and messy. But whenever I hear them honking over head I always have to stop and admire them. I love their honk, and their little faces when you do come in eye contact with them. They like to turn their heads from side to side like they're sizing us up! Is that a friend or a foe they wonder.
