Knox Library

This is one end of the Caven Library at Knox College at U of Toronto. The bay window that I showed you yesterday is out of the pic to the left. I love the wooden ceiling and all of its details.

  1. That ceiling is fantastic. I agree with TexWisGirl, very church like.

  6. That's what a real library should look like! The whole place is magnificent! The chairs might be a tad more comfy, though. Except too comfy might put people to sleep! :)

  7. Lovely. The ceiling reminds me a little of my church.

  8. Indeed it is the hull of a ship that sails time and heaven: hence a nave!

  9. I just really really want to be young and go back to school. (I doubt I'd be accepted, but the first part of that dream isn't going to come true either, so I might as well pretend I am that smart!) What a beautiful beautiful campus that must be.

  11. It is really quite a place. The furniture isn't as attractive as the place is.

  12. What stunning decor, I have to say those windows and the ceiling are of brilliant design.

  13. This is a priceless building; I doubt that there will ever again be buildings as classic as this constructed for our enjoyment.
