Late August At The Park

It is the time of year when we must take advantage of whatever warm sunny days we have before the days get short and winter comes. I took this pic about a week ago at James Gardens which seems to have become my escape place this summer. It is a wonderful place to sit and recharge!

  2. I totally agree, that's exactly what I did yesterday! Winter packs a mean bunch of days/weeks my way and it's moments like this that carry me through them all. What a gorgeous place this is.

  3. What a gorgeous scene! I'd love exploring here. I just got back (last night) from six days in California and one of the places I visited was The Huntington Library which is so much more than a library. It's an art gallery and the historic home of Henry Huntington a businessman who made his fortune in railroad companies. In addition, the grounds contain a huge botanical garden that is quite spectacular. We were there all day exploring those gardens and the galleries. I do LOVE a good garden.
