Coffee & a Doughnut

This is the Santa Claus Parade float sponsored by Tim Horton's which is the iconic coffee & doughnut stop for Canadians who drink coffee. (I don't.)  I do love the Christmas sweaters that the creatures are wearing!

  1. All the floats look wonderful. I could go for a coffee and a donut this afternoon - though I confess that one of those Christmas jumpers would probably fit me as it is. Thanks for all the posts this year, Pat, and for popping across to virtual Britain as you do. Very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

  2. I do drink coffee but I must say I prefer Tim's original roast over the dark roast they sell if you don't ask for the original.

  3. Glad to know another non-coffee drinker. I just never acquired a taste for the stuff. Donuts on the other hand are very tasty. Although, I don't think I've had a donut in 2 or 3 years. This is a cute float with all the woodland animals in their holiday sweaters.

  4. Tim Horton's sounds a bit like Starbucks. That's a nice, friendly float and the Xmas sweaters are quite beautiful!

  6. I guess I'll never know what Tim Horton's is like. Maybe that is a good thing.

  7. I love cartoon animals doing human things, donuts, and coffee. But I only drink coffee in the morning. I can watch cartoon animals any time. Lovely float. The float builders are highly skilled.

  8. My eye gets drawn to the rocking chair.

I guess I'm not the only Canuck who avoids Timmys.

  9. How cute! I just hate missing all these fun photos. I've had too many hours at work and it's so hard keeping up, but I have to check in!
