Lunchtime

I caught this little Downy Woodpecker with a mouth full off suet. They are quite common sights in the city and make quite a noise when they hammer away on trees despite their small size!

  1. Nice shot, Pat! I like the bird feeder, too. I've not seen one like that before. It gives the birds some easy places to hang on while chomping down the suet.

  3. Oh my, what a cutie and I really like that crafty design he's holding on to. We have a few around here, and did I mention we have a daffy one that enjoys hammering on our metal ladder? Silly right?

  5. What a great shot. At least with the suet feeder he doesn't have to hammer to get to the good stuff.
