Lunch Crowd

There seem to be a lot of Goldfinches around the city this year and this feeder is a favourite luncheon place for them. The sparrow in the foreground was just landing so is a bit out of focus and I think she may have to wait a bit for a turn!

  1. I think Goldfinches are one of the prettiest birds in the world. Of course, I like most anything that is gold! :)

  3. If that feeder if filled with Niger thistle seed, the sparrow will have to wait some time. Gold finches are so lovely to see,

  10. Such lovely goldfinches! I don't have a feeder they come to, so I have to try and chase them around.
