A Small City Park

This is Berczy Park which is in the St Lawrence neighbourhood near Front & Yonge Streets. It was opened in 1980 replacing a parking lot but has been closed since 2015 to undergo rejuvenation. I'll be showing you some great features from the park, which is less than an acre in size, over the next few days. Yesterday's puppy was photographed here.

  2. Very pretty! We need more spaces for trees to grow (and flowers, shrubs, grass). Love the fountain!

  6. Maybe small, but so pretty, all that greenery, and flowers about, and yesterday's pup was sweet. My favorite part of this photo is the building with the (is it artwork?) appearing to be windows and yet it's like folding in? Very curious about it, please share if you can.

  9. An attractive green oasis. The fountain looks quite large in a small park (as you describe it) Far more attractive than a former parking lot!

  10. Looks tranquil. If it's next to Younge Street the surroundings can't be as quiet.
