A '56 Beauty

They sure don't make cars like this anymore. There was a vintage car afternoon at the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre last week and this beauty was one of them. It is a 1956 Buick Special Riviera. Fabulous isn't it?

  2. Those were big, heavy but great fun cars. I had a 1957 Olds hardtop which was a delight - all chrome and leather. Beautiful photo, Pat.

  8. In 1956 it probably sold for $1,500 or less.

  9. Wonderful! Beautiful!
1956 was a good year. I started first grade, adored my teacher, and found my first boyfriend (at 5 years old!).

  11. I wonder how many coats of fiery red paint that car has. It is a winner, RedPat.
