Good Eats

This mural is found in the laneway on the side of the Dirty Bird Chicken & Waffles restaurant on Bloor St. I've never been in but apparently they serve northern-fried chicken with maple sugar seasoning on waffles as a speciality. It sounds good. This is another mural by Elicser who seems to be one of the most prominent muralists in the city now.

    Very nice mural. I've never heard of northern-fried chicken before, but it does sound good.

    I've never had chicken and waffles although I've heard good things but, I must say your description with maple seasonings sounds even better than what I've heard. Cute mural for the place.

    There's a love fest going on but I'm sure if it's between the diners and the food or between the diners themselves! What a name, "Dirty Bird..." Not too appetizing! :)

    Well, the name may not be too appetizing, but it is intriguing, and I would be tempted to go in and try some of this 'northern-fried chicken'!

    Cool looking mural. I never heard of northern fried chicken. Maybe with the maple syrup, it makes the northern connection.

    This is good Pat! Eugene Arts Commission has been bringing in mural artists to dress things up a bit, but I haven't really fallen in love with the ones I see. I need to spend a day doing the whole tour and really looking. Maybe I'm missing something.
