Keeping Warm

The Eastern Grey Squirrel come in 2 colours - grey and black which I think is the most common colour in Toronto. It is the grey ones which seem to have the big bushy tails like this one. Wrap that around yourself in your nest and you can be warm all winter!

  1. I'm not sure why your squirrels have such bushy tails and our squirrels have rat tails! Doesn't seem fair to me! Sure is a cutie, though. Maybe our squirrels don't have enough nuts among them?

  9. The bushy-tailed ones are cute. And in the Ponderosa Pine forests of Northern Arizona one can find the Abert's Squirrel, with it's strange ear tufts.
