Treats In The Snow

This pic is from a few weeks ago when we still had a lot of snow. This Grey Squirrel had found some very tasty morsels in the snow and the cold didn't seem to bother him at all.

    He's a cutie for sure. Love that bushy tail. I think our squirrels would collapse and die in the snow, though!

    What a wonderful shot. It brings back memories of growing up in Illinois. I always loved watching the squirrels scamper around our yard when I was a kid. Mom would put little bits out for them in various locations.

    Lots of squirrels around my house, some grey, some a very dark grey, almost black, and a couple of really light coloured ones that I see every morning. Very cute, but definitely tree-rats.

    Cute. This weekend they didn't have to search to hard (we've had a melt down) and the birds have been coming around like never before it seems. But they say a snow storm is on the way again. Boo-Hoo!
