Cactus Flower

Years ago my mother got a cutting of not the most attractive cactus from her older brother. Every few years it might put out one flower but this year it has been covered with these large lovely translucent blooms. It makes it worthwhile to keep it growing!

    Cactus do bloom very often, but when they do the flowers, as you have shown, can be spectacular.
