Affordable
There is a huge sign at the side of this construction site saying that it is an "affordable housing" project. I assume that means that these will be rental units at a reasonable price. There is a real shortage of rental spaces in the city!
...what is affordable?

ReplyDeleteThat's good - hope they can keep the price low enough for ordinary people. With housing prices as they are today, we could never afford to buy - our house is old, but it's paid for!

Speaking from experience, I remain dubious of any assurance from a developer.
ReplyDeleteWages don't seem to be able to keep up with the price of house.
ReplyDeleteAffordable is always nice if you can find it. Hopefully these will fill some of the need for the people.
