This is another car from the show of vintage cars at the Veterans Centre at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. It is a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. It would be fun to take this one for a spin!
The Ford Mustang went through many design changes, and the mid-70s to mid-80s was not their high point. The cars became larger, poorer handling, and slower with the introduction of pollution controls. The 1980s in car manufacturing is called the malaise era, and for good reason.
