They Are Everywhere

I don't think that I have ever seen as many Monarch Butterflies flitting around the city as I have this year. There has been a big push to plant milkweed for their caterpillars to feed on and I think it must be having a positive effect on the population.

  8. This is great news. I have seen several Monarch butterflies today. Hope to see more heading south in a month or so.

  12. I am seeing a lot of butterflies, some monarchs and many others. I do think the publicity about planting of milkweed is helping, but they still have a tough future.
