Seedeater

This is another through the window pic, this time I have caught a goldfinch in winter garb as he feasts on the seeds left from a Coneflower blossom. The bird and the flower will look a lot different in summer!

  9. He's serious about getting those seeds! We thought we saw a Goldfinch this week. We have a lot of Warblers here right now so we're not sure. Happy weekend!

  12. I like goldfinches. The females stay rather drab but the males shed those dowdy feathers and wow!
