Walking Down

The little White-breasted Nuthatches have such strong feet that they can walk up & down a tree trunk as if they were walking on the ground. They are sweet birds to see during most of the year here in Toronto.
Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

  3. From what I've seen of our Nuthatches they prefer to be upside-down rather than right-side-up. Lovely little beings.
