Pretty Pink

This small Magnolia tree is always the first one that I see blooming. Again this year it was covered in lovely pink blossoms before the larger trees had even started to open. I'm not sure of its variety but it is a welcome sight each spring. I took this pic a week and a half ago and the others are now flowering.

    ...they are flowering here too, but our snow yesterday didn't do them any favors.

    Beautiful blossoms on this Magnolia tree. The blossoms are just starting to come out here as well.

    A beautiful, colorful tree. The magnolias down here in Florida are also in bloom, though most are not as dramatic.

    They always look stunning. It's Magnolia Soulangeana, or Chinese Magnolia.

    I was thinking it's a tulip magnolia but then I don't know the Magnolia Soulangeana, so I'll defer to Andrew.
