Watching

This is the hawk that was watching the Canada Goose family that I showed you last week. I saw him looking at them for at least 20 minutes before flying off. There is a pair of Red-tailed Hawks that nest near here each year and this may have been one of them.

  2. Hawks are beautiful birds, fun to watch, but they are predators. Nature is not kind to the weak and defenseless.

  6. No wonder the Canada Geese are so watchful of their tiny young. They know there are predators around.

  7. You can't blame someone from eyeing up a potential meal. We all have to eat. Raptors are not veggies.
