Bishop's Block

These are the two townhouses referenced in yesterday's sign. These very old buildings were constructed in the mid 1800s and then dismantled and rebuilt in 2010. They sat at this corner looking sad for many years before that. They are now surrounded by a hotel which wraps around them.

  1. Hello,

I like the red brick townhouses. These old and new buildings look similar to ones here too. Take care, enjoy your day!

  3. In normal times, that location near a large hotel would be a great spot for shopping and eating. If we ever get back to normal, maybe it will some new life.

  6. It's nice that the brick building survived. It really stands with the hotel surrounding it.

  7. Dwarfed by the glass buildings but very nice to see the old one preserved and utilised.

  8. The rebuilding project of this building was quite an undertaking. Good to have an historic building downtown.

  9. Do we do corner doors anymore? Seems like they were all the rage at one time.
