Affordable Housing


 This building was just finished in the last year and was purposely built as affordable housing with money coming from various levels of government. It has 82 units of various sizes and is at least a start towards providing housing that is safe and affordable.

    I am all for affordable housing so I volunteer and support our local Habitat affiliate which is a hand up, not a hand out. The history of high rise public housing has not been successful. Perhaps this housing is just affordable for those who have a modest income.
