Access Denied

This pic was taken a year ago just after a big snowstorm. The squirrels were usually able to reach the red bird feeder by jumping onto that lower structure which is a cone and then reaching out to grab onto the feeder. The snow has done a good job stopping that access route for the poor black squirrel.

  4. Hello,

The squirrels always find a way to the feeders, I have seen them jump straight up to a feeder on a pole. They are determined to eat. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend.

  6. Great shot of the feeder and squirrel. They are really clever at figuring out how to get to a bird feeder, but the snow presents a whole new problem.

  8. Good hurdle. I don’t want squirrels to feed birds. We have our own food vending machines for squirrels. Where are the squirrels? They have not been seen all winter. Is there?

  13. Same here right now! Our poor peanuts can´t get anything from me today, it´d be buried in snow quickly.

  15. Hello,:=) I like your red feeder! We never have snow where I live, and it makes beautiful scenery, and it keeps your feeder secure from squirrels.
