Sleepy Ducks


Sometimes you just have to have a wee nap to help you get through the rest of the day. These two Mallards seemed to be sound asleep but I'm guessing they were still aware of their surroundings.

    Yes they are aware of their surroundings. They do sleep with one eye open.

    We found a mallard hanging out on the log boom surrounding our water lot. He didn't seem to mind us passing by. - Margy
