Up on the roof by my deck I have a very large saucer which I keep filled with water for the birds to bathe & drink. A week ago a pair of Hermit Thrushes appeared and they have been around ever since. I don't think they will be staying for the winter so I will enjoy them now. Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.
Nice little critter.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. do enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe Hermit Thrush is a pretty visitor. Great photo!
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend.
That is a fine photo of a bird we do not see around here. I hope your visitors enjoy their stay on your deck.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bird I don't see down here.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have Hermit Thrushes visiting your yard! They must appreciate that water source, especially as they prepare for winter. Enjoy their company while you can! 🐦💧 Read my new blog post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/
ReplyDeleteNice visiter!
ReplyDeleteA nice friendly visitor and a great capture of this beauty.
ReplyDeleteYour good deed was rewarded. I love your attitude. Aloha
ReplyDeleteIt seems rather perverse to me that a "hermit" should visit anyone. So I looked it up to find that it does indeed get its name from its shy and solitary behaviour. You must be very honoured!
ReplyDeleteLovely bird.
ReplyDeleteI like these birds. We have them in summer, and early spring! We've said goodbye, now.
ReplyDeleteNice of you.
ReplyDeleteYou: clever, this one: cute.
ReplyDeleteLovely to have such sweet visitors, even if for only a short while.
ReplyDeleteA pretty bird.
