The 3 Sisters, by Meti artist Dani Kastelein, is found on what had been the entrance to a church on Walmer Rd in the Annex neighbourhood. The church is yet another one that has been purchased by a developer and a condo will go up on the site while maintaining part of the church. The mural represents the 4 elements Earth, Air, Fire, and water as well as the 3 sisters.

ReplyDeleteTriple windows like that are often (but not always) found on churches with the name Holy Trinity in the UK, so maybe the three sisters is a modern interpretation of that theme. It's very attractive anyway.
