The November theme for the City Daily Photo Blog community is Cooking and for the theme I present some of my cook books. Can you tell that I like Jamie Oliver? I love reading cookbooks but probably try making a very tiny percentage of the recipes.

I do enjoy cooking because I enjoy eating, so cook books are always good to have around. I also use the Internet for recipes.
ReplyDeleteBut you also have to have a bit of a knack for it otherwise it won't be your cup of tea despite a cookbook.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that Jamie Oliver had so many cookbooks. I think I have one around here somewhere. However, I have eaten at two of his restaurants while visiting London.
ReplyDeleteI want to come to dinner and your house!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the collection. Happy cooking!
ReplyDeleteYou have more books than I do! I buy and read them but when I try a recipe I almost always find I have not got one crucial ingredient, so I end up substituting something else. It usually turns out OK.
ReplyDeleteI love books!
ReplyDeleteOliver has come in for a lot of criticism of late, especially about his finances. I used to like him but not so much now.
ReplyDeleteYou are surely a fan
ReplyDeleteBig LOL, I have those Jamie-books, too, the latest "Simply Jamie". Also the DVDs.
ReplyDeleteHe really taught me to cook, especially when saying, I do it like this, you can do it your way.
Actually I don´t need them, though, he gives away so much on FB!!
You have a nice collection of cookbooks. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any of those. We have the Looney Spoons one and the two follow-ups plus some others.
ReplyDeleteInteresting take on the theme! I can still post one too! Thanks
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of cookbooks.
