Just before the recent cold spell we actually had a day when the sun came out and the temperature went up to +2˚C so I headed out for a walk. This is a typical street in the west end of the Annex neighbourhood. Very few homes have driveways so street parking is the only option.
Lovely view. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness it's a frozen tundra everywhere here too! It's snowing big dumps in cities that never get snow!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very pretty street. I bet you can't see the houses when those trees are full of leaves.
ReplyDeleteVery nice street view. Like it,
ReplyDelete.
Always good when the temperature goes above freezing in January. We might see this next week. Hope you had a good walk.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us around your town Pat AlohaThanks for showing us around your town Pat. Aloha
ReplyDeleteI love the weak winter sun we sometimes get. So welcome and makes for good photos.
ReplyDeleteIt always seem difficult to find parking on city streets.
ReplyDeleteHere the homeowners have to put a stickers on their cars to park in front of their homes. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a wonderful week!
Nice street view, it reminds me of NY. When it snows there, people have to move their cars to the opposite side so it could be plowed and then alternate each day back and forth until spring. It was a pain to do that everyday.
ReplyDeleteThe snowy world I admire
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty cold, we get - 2 degrees celsius at night sometimes in Winter.
ReplyDeleteSame dilemma here, parking in the street...
ReplyDelete2C here today. But no snow. Only fog. Careful on the icy streets, okay?
ReplyDeleteOh, and now it is -1C and snowing.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good photo. Cars aren't buried at least.
ReplyDeleteA good winter view.
ReplyDeleteThey are familiar streets!
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy walking here. It reminds me of the neighborhood where I lived in Columbus, Ohio. Brick houses, mainly street parking.
