Icicles

 

I don't think that I have ever seen a winter with so many icicles around. I think it is a combination of a lot of snow, cold temperatures and scattered days of sunshine but not enough to melt the snow and ice completely. This place was particularly covered in ice but I have seen some even worse.

    I've seen a few instances of icicles around. Only photographed one spot though.

    Wow, those are huge icicles. If I were that home owner I would increase the insulation in the attic as too much heat is escaping the house causing melting on the roof.
