It was the 1958 Impala up above this cafe in Merida Mexico that caught my attention. That was the first year that the Impala was built and I don't think I have ever seen one before. This was a morning pic but by evening this place was packed and the sign was highlighted with neon.Taking part in Signs2. Click HERE to see more signs from around the world.
RedPat, that is a wonderful sign. I remember these cars, but was not really attracted to them. The cafe would attract me as I love old stuff.
ReplyDelete...the '58 Impala is an expensive car to be sitting up there.
ReplyDeleteI have photographed 3, 1958 Impala cars at different meets. A true classic.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great meet-up place. I love the Impala. It would have been interesting to see how it got up there.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog
ReplyDeleteI remember them having 4 doors, not only 2. They were a success among my friends, but I don't think I ever saw a 1958 model
