Perfect Timing

My ancient Clivia plant has decided to put on a show and brighten the place a bit. That white background out the window is snow! I think the plant is about 15 years old and it flowers twice a year - priceless.

That is a happy plant in full bloom. Perfect for a cold February.

...I have a clivia that we bought 2 years ago this month. I was in flower when we bought and it flowered in the summer of 2025. It's now big and beautiful, but it doesn't show signs of flowers buds. I saw a video that said stop watering to induce flower bud production. It hasn't been watered in three months. Any suggestions?

Great colour and timing, and how delightful when the flowers come back year after year.

Very pretty! In the warm months, I take flowers for granted, but they are delightful to see in the winter.

What a lovely moment, the contrast between the bright flowers and the snowy background is beautiful. It’s amazing that your Clivia has been thriving for so long and still puts on such a show.
