This cheeky squirrel was just a few feet away fro me as I walked along a path and he was quite determined to get some type of food from me. I had lots of time to pull out my camera and take a few shots while he stared me down.

Lovely photo! The squirrel is evidently used to getting food from people. There has been a problem in my mother-in-law's townhouse complex: one of the owners feeds birds, hedgehogs, and squirrels inside their own unit. The animals being fed also wander into other residents' homes. Feeding animals and birds is prohibited there.

ReplyDeleteI love the black squirrels of Ontario! We only have red squirrels out West here -- and oh yeah, some grey ones I've noticed too.
