This ivy had grown all the way up a telephone pole and was beginning to cover over the streetlight that I spotted along Palmerston. It all looked quite lush.
The growth of this Ivy looks almost tropically lush. The growing conditions must have been just right this year. Perhaps the utility company needs to deal with this?
