Red House

Several years ago an architect bought a boring little house in Seaton Village (just west of the Annex) and after a major renovation this wonderful little house appeared! Lovely in the summer, in the snow, the red really pops and the warmth of the wood is super. I would love to see the inside!

I'm sure it's very cozy and elegant inside. ;-)

  3. Oooh, that is really gorgeous. You can just tell that a talented person lives there. I would never think of that rich, beautiful red.

  4. i find it interesting that you can always tell when a house has been designed by an architect rather than a developer or a 'renovation' by an owner. it always makes a statement and in most cases always works! nice find red pat and thanks for a well framed pic.

  7. Colourful houses are very common in Maritime Canada. It's nice to see something like the last two postings in the city.

  8. The colour is great to see, and the rich wood, you would never see this colour in arizona, every house there is dull grey or dull beige, i think it must be the law there, everything must blend with the desert, I wonder what would happen if someone from halifax moved there,,,M

  9. Love the front - but it looks as if there are no windows on the side that could actually let in some light. It must be very dark inside.

  10. The red does pop this time of year. I like all the windows to let in tons of light.
