I can't leave this little tour of the Annex without showing at least one of the turrets which the area is known for and so here is one of my favourites. I go by here often hoping that there will be no car but it is always there! These porches looks so whimsical with their little round areas at the front - like a wishing well. Another great place to sit out!

ReplyDeleteThere are some fabulous houses in this area. I like the quirky turrets - looks like you could play out a romantic Romeo and Juliet balcony scene there.

An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
Reminds me of some of the houses in the older part of Kingston, where I grew up, mostly. I've always thought these turrets would be a great place for a reading room.
