Dundas Flowers
This is the last of Jose Ortega's Dundas St West murals for now - I have heard of 1 more so will have to go down for another pic and also a visit to the Brazil Bakery to try some of those treats Lucia mentioned a couple of days ago. This mural is on the side of a house which is located beside a large parking area so I assume they were being tagged with graffiti regularly and have decided to go for flowery paint instead - excellent solution!
A permanent flower garden!
ReplyDeleteHope you like the Brazilian treats. :)
Any old hippie would love this!
ReplyDeleteI should say 'more' more often :)
ReplyDeleteBig Thank you Red Pat
I agree that it's a great solution. It's so much nicer than graffiti!
ReplyDeleteThat is how to brighten up a parking lot!
ReplyDeleteGoodness 1960s wallpaper, only outside the house and with really really big flowers!
ReplyDeleteIf the unfortunate choice is graffiti or this mural, the choice is easy!
ReplyDeleteMuch more appealing than graffiti.
ReplyDeleteLove street art and commissioned murals. it's so bright and cheerful! A talented man.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant solution to taggers. Have fun at the Brazilian Bakery - good eating :-)

ReplyDeleteNow, that is impressive, big bright flowers that will bring summer to the coldest of winter days!

ReplyDeleteI love this one Pat -- I wouldn't mind having it on an outside wall at our little house in florida. Do you think he'd like to come visit ;>)
