A School With Colour
As we approach the winter solstice here the days are so short and seem to be so grey that I thought I would post another bright shot from the summer, this one a pic of an Annex area private school which is a real anomaly in that it hasn't got the usual bland colour scheme found in the neighbourhood. What a way to excite the kids in the mornings!
Looks like you took this one on a bright sunny day!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to post something sunny, RedPat. I do wish the sun would come out! :))
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you would choose to post some summer snaps, sure is dark outside most of the time in December.
ReplyDeleteWonderful summer colors!
ReplyDeleteAlways welcome :)
Even here on the "Sunshine Coast" it's a blah time of year for pictures - nice to see something bright!
ReplyDeleteNice to see the green, it is a holiday color. This building doesn't look like a school. I like it though.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to brighten up your mood with color. The ever shorter days are almost over, and soon the days will start getting longer. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteWonder if that inviting color scheme is carried throughout the interior as well? I love the organic benches out front.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of this wonderful old building!
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy colour was chosen for this school! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a happy place, which is what a school should be. Why are so many school buildings to dingy and dull? I dunno.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you need a little vacation down here in Florida!
Great color combination.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to arrive at school to find these lively colours, a great start to the day Red.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely under that blue sky.
ReplyDeleteIt's a kind of terra-cotta color that looks more like New Mexico than Toronto (or at least how I know Toronto from your blog)! You are so right, school should be a bright and welcoming place.
ReplyDeleteVery bright and cheerful. Just what we need.
