A School With Colour

As we approach the winter solstice here the days are so short and seem to be so grey that I thought I would post another bright shot from the summer, this one a pic of an Annex area private school which is a real anomaly in that it hasn't got the usual bland colour scheme found in the neighbourhood. What a way to excite the kids in the mornings!

  3. I can understand why you would choose to post some summer snaps, sure is dark outside most of the time in December.

  5. Even here on the "Sunshine Coast" it's a blah time of year for pictures - nice to see something bright!

  6. Nice to see the green, it is a holiday color. This building doesn't look like a school. I like it though.

  7. Good idea to brighten up your mood with color. The ever shorter days are almost over, and soon the days will start getting longer. Hang in there!

  8. Wonder if that inviting color scheme is carried throughout the interior as well? I love the organic benches out front.

  10. Looks like a happy place, which is what a school should be. Why are so many school buildings to dingy and dull? I dunno.

Sounds like you need a little vacation down here in Florida!

  13. It's a kind of terra-cotta color that looks more like New Mexico than Toronto (or at least how I know Toronto from your blog)! You are so right, school should be a bright and welcoming place.
