Courtyard House
This shot is a reverse of yesterday's, taken from the doorway of the studio and looking into the living room of the house and the kitchen beyond. If you look closely you can see all the people milling about inside. That Japanese Maple certainly looks happy with its nice protected location.
The Courtyard House looks like an amazing place Pat, love the Japanese Maple, I have one that looks a bit like this but in a few weeks it'll be 'winter bare' :)
ReplyDeleteit's just a cool place!
ReplyDeleteI like the wooden stool!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours, so rich and vibrant! And it does look very busy inside!
ReplyDeletethis isn't a usual Toronto style! it looks very nice, but not quite my style.
ReplyDeleteLovely setting, wonder how far the ivy is 'allowed' over the wood!
ReplyDeleteAnother good angle on the place!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place to live and work.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the Japanese maple yesterday and again today. I have a landscaper planting a big Japanese maple very soon and I am getting impatient to see it in the spot I have chosen.
ReplyDeleteNice looking studio.
ReplyDeleteA nice place with gorgeous colours around.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly intrigues me - this house. I guess partly because it would seem too cold for such an indoor/outdoor kind of structure. Did you take this in the fall or does that Japanese maple look like that year round?
ReplyDeleteWhat a truly gorgeous courtyard. The colors of the wood, the stone and the maple just ooze relaxation.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful place to live and relax :))
ReplyDeleteA kiss.
Lovely contrast of the red and green leaves!
