A New Mural B
I thought I'd show another part of the new mural on Bathurst St and then some more next week. I'm not sure if it was the intent of the artist but the figures seem to be playing with the small buildings that he has running throughout the whole length of the piece. This young lady even has a T.O. tattoo on her arm! (T.O. for Toronto)
The city is her toy!
ReplyDeleteBit like a human Godzilla hey Pat :)

I must admit that I have liked some of the othr murals you've featured better than this one. Jusy sayin'. :))
ReplyDeleteThese figures are just wonderful, so expressive.
ReplyDeleteAh, so it's got a lot of horizontal dimension to it?

I like this part.
ReplyDeleteI love the deep, rich colours.
ReplyDeleteI like the giant scale of it - clever.
ReplyDeleteYou have some prolific street artists in Toronto Red Pat...we could do with some of their talent here!
ReplyDeleteI dunno, Pat. This doesn't bring a sense of joy to me...she doesn't look very happy. I'd like to know that point being made...got to be one. Colorful, though. (I was always taught to try to find the good in everything! ;))
ReplyDeleteA little scary I think. I'll bet the kids run by her!
